Download Page

On many Windows XP and Windows 2000 machines, the required ultra thin client is preinstalled. If so, it is usually listed under Start/Programs/Accessories/Communications as the Remote Desktop Connection.

If you do not see the Remote Desktop Connection icon from the Start/Programs/Accessories/Communications menu or it does not work, you can easily install it the first time you access your My Desktop Anywhere remote work environment.

To access Desktop Anywhere you may first have to access the Remote Desktop Control. This automated install will allow you to follow the prompts to simply install your the ultra thin client software the first time you use a new computer. You can access this page to load the automated control from this link:

Click Here to Download the Remote Desktop Connection

Once installed, client on the icon on the desktop of the computer you are using (the icon that looks like the upper left hand corner of the screen shot below to the left of the words Remote Desktop Connection.

Then just click connect and log in. Again, this only needs to be done the first time you use a computer and only if it is not already installed.

If you are getting an error about the TS License Expiration Message please do the following things.

1)       Create a directory on your local pc (not the TS) off of the c:\ drive that is called TSTEMP.

2)     Now download the script by clicking this link and then selecting "Save".

3)       Once that it is done, make sure you are logged out of your Desktop Anywhere Account, i.e., don’t have an active Terminal Server session, and then open up the TSTEMP directory

4)       With the directory open, highlight the tsclnup.vbs file that you saved in the TSTEMP directory and once highlighted, please hit the ENTER key to run the script.

5)       Note any error messages, if you get any (hopefully not) and then clear it.

6)       Log back into Desktop Anyhwhere.
